When you think about the capital of China, you probably imagine shiny
skyscrapers made of glass and steel. However, there is life blooming in
far less fancy places of the giant city.
Thousands
of migrant workers that come to Beijing live underground in parking
lots, storage basements and air raid shelters. Exorbitant property
prices drive people into these cramped cells, forming what is called the
“rat tribe” by Chinese media.
