Poor situation of Hong Kong families

These revealing images highlight the oppressive living conditions of many Hong Kong families. The urban slums are home to the poor and elderly and homes are sometimes no bigger than the average toilet cubicle. Aerial photos taken by the Society for Community Organisation show the harsh reality of life in one of the richest cities. Rental in the city is around $11.60 per square foot per month which is why people are forced to live in such small spaces.
