The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is the
largest region of Russia, its area occupies up to 2/3 os all Europe. At
the same time almost 90% of the territory is in the thrall of the
permafrost. More than 50% of the territory is above the Arctic Circle.
The temperature difference between summer and winter is over 100
degrees! In summer it’s rather hot here and people widely use air
conditioners.
Tourists being afraid of cold avoided the region but now the situation is different. Yakutia has turned cold into brand!
