Les photos de Pieter Hugo

For his series “There’s a Place in Hell for Me and My Friends“, the South African photographer Pieter Hugo has made portraits of his friends to whom he gave the appearance of monsters, zombies coming straight from hell by removing the red when on his black and white portraits digital, which darkened and highlights all skin imperfections, even invisible to the naked eye in the same way as with calotypes in silver.
