Two more examples of careless attitude towards old Russian buildings. An educational construction of the Soviet times and a marvellous Orthodox church.
Premises of a former club with a cinema and different hobby circles, that was deserted after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Location:Zlatoust
The next building is 200 years older. Construction of this church in Yaroslavl region is dated 1788.
Nowadays this spectacular building is abandoned and slowly goes to ruin.
One can only imagine what a beauty it once used to be.
Believers still come here.

One could hardly guess the “Last Supper”.
Virtually all the ceiling paintings look as if done lately – the paints have perfectly preserved the brightness of colors.
