Most of these people who now live in a retirement home have relatives, children, brothers or sisters. It doesn’t save them from loneliness, though. All the elderly people here tell the same story: they came here from home of their own free will as they didn’t want to be a burden and decided to spend the rest of their lives far from the family. Talking to them one asks oneself: is that true? In any case, they are alive. Some still have hope for a thing we are all in search of – happiness.
